The research project AstroPsychoHealth, co-created by an employee of the Institute of Psychology at UZ - Konrad Opaliński, has gained the approval of the European Space Agency (ESA), the Ministry of Development and Technology (MRiT) and the Polish Space Agency (POLSA). Consultations with ESA regarding the implementation of the project will begin in the coming days.
The project focuses on monitoring the mental health of astronauts for space missions and is intended to be carried out at the International Space Station (ISS).
In addition to K. Opaliński (UZ), the research team includes three employees from the University of Silesia, one person from the University of Wrocław, one person from the SWPS University in Wrocław, and two individuals from Space is More.

Update:
On 13th November 2023, the research group received confirmation from the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) that the project will be carried out as part of the Ax-4 space mission. This means that meetings with the European Space Agency (ESA) will be held in the near future to begin its implementation. It will also likely be the space mission of Sławosz Uznański - the second Pole in space, who will also be a participant in the research.
