On November 15th, students from ESN UZ as well as students and interns from the Erasmus+ program visited Wschowa, where they were invited by high school students and the principal of High School No. 1, Agata Karolczyk-Kozyra, to present available study programs at the University of Zielona Góra to 160 students and promote the idea of the Erasmus+ program.
It was a wonderful and practical English lesson," said the school principal, Agata Karolczyk-Kozyra.
During the trip, students and Erasmus UZ students, under the supervision of Prof. Marek Smoluk, visited various attractions in the city of Wschowa, including the Franciscan Monastery, and were hosted for a meeting and lunch at the County Office by County Governor Andrzej Bielawski.
Later in the day, the students visited the Sułkowski Palace in Włoszakowice, which is the only building in Poland (and one of three in Europe) with a plan in the shape of an equilateral triangle with concave corners. The UZ students learned about the history of the Palace from Mayor Robert Kasperczak and enjoyed a piano concert specially prepared by the employees of the Municipal Office for the occasion.
