On 29 August this year, the oath-taking ceremony for legal counsels was held, organized by the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Zielona Góra. The Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences of the University of Zielona Góra and the Institute of Legal Sciences were represented by Dr. habil. Maciej Małolepszy, Professor at UZ, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the prosecution service and the bar.
In his speech, Professor Małolepszy expressed his gratitude to the authorities of the Chamber of Legal Counsels for their excellent cooperation with the Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences at UZ. As a result of this collaboration, nearly half of those taking the oath are graduates of the Faculty.
Professor Małolepszy also emphasized the importance of continuing this cooperation. In the era of artificial intelligence, the process of educating lawyers—both at the university level and during professional training—will also undergo significant transformation.
