Dr. hab. Iwona Pałucka-Czerniak, Prof. UZ (Director of the Center for Polish Language and Culture at the University of Zielona Góra), and Dr. Magdalena Jurewicz-Nowak (Head of the Polish Language Laboratory for Foreigners at UZ) from the Institute of Polish Philology at the University of Zielona Góra have been added to the ministerial list of examiners authorized to serve as chairpersons of examination committees for Polish as a foreign language.
The interest among foreigners in obtaining certification of their Polish language proficiency is steadily growing. Globally, more than 35,000 people take these exams each year. The University of Zielona Góra has been offering these state exams since 2022. In each session, held four times a year, over 100 foreigners take the Polish language proficiency exam at the university.
The authorization granted to Dr. hab. Iwona Pałucka-Czerniak, Prof. UZ, and Dr. Magdalena Jurewicz-Nowak to chair these exams ensures the university's ability to maintain quality and operational stability.
