The Research and Development Centers of the University of Zielona Góra (CBR UZ) and the technology company GAMP have signed a cooperation agreement to develop a comprehensive ESG reporting system. The aim of the project is to provide companies with a tool that enables real, rather than merely declarative, action in the field of sustainable development.
“Environmental transformation starts with data. We believe that a well-designed system can genuinely support companies in achieving their ESG goals,” says Radosław Grech, President of CBR UZ.
As part of the cooperation, a tool is being developed that integrates operational data, calculates emissions in line with the GHG standard, generates emission maps, and provides reports and guidelines for creating decarbonization strategies. The system will be ready for integration with companies’ IT infrastructure, enabling ongoing monitoring and planning of pro-environmental initiatives.
GAMP – a trusted technology company from the Lubuskie region – brings to the project its experience in creating advanced systems for industry, logistics, and energy. The GAMP team specializes in data integration, software development, and the application of AI for process optimization. For years, they have been supporting companies in their ecological transformation – from reporting and implementing low-emission innovations to energy optimization.
“For us, this is a natural step – we develop solutions for industry, and ESG is now one of the key challenges. Cooperation with CBR UZ allows us to combine our technological expertise with scientific knowledge,” emphasizes Piotr Gawara, President of GAMP.
What will the project deliver?
The project is aimed at companies that want not only to report but to actively manage their environmental impact. This is ESG you can put into practice – bringing together science, technology, and real-world application.
The agreement was signed at the Zielona Góra Business Integrator – a hub that connects business and science while comprehensively supporting investors and entrepreneurs in the region. It is one of the fastest-growing organizations in the area, creating a genuine space for collaboration.
The result? A synergy of three partners – GAMP, CBR UZ, and the Integrator – working together to support companies ready for a sustainable future.
