Another international success has been achieved by the Academic Motor Association of the University of Zielona Góra. This time, a project implemented under the Kalakson VI programme was awarded a Silver Medal at the International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEx) in Bangkok, Thailand.
From 5 to 9 January 2026, nearly 3,000 projects and inventions submitted by exhibitors from 30 countries took part in the competition organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). The project developed by the Academic Motor Association received high recognition from the international jury, placing second in the competition, which confirms its high level of innovation as well as its significant application potential.
The project supervisor, MSc Eng. Zdzisław Wałęga, along with the student team — Amadeusz Korona, Łukasz Owczarz, Igor Wachowiak, and Jakub Świgło — expressed great pride in this achievement.
