In the 2025/2026 school year, a new university-focused class has been launched at I Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Zielona Góra, built on close collaboration with the University of Zielona Góra. Students in this class will have the opportunity to attend lectures led by university faculty, use modern laboratories, and explore the latest scientific achievements across various fields.
It is worth noting that the school’s cooperation with the university is not new. Last year, I LO students participated in the MUZG project – the Youth University of Zielona Góra – which allowed them to expand their knowledge, develop research interests, and engage directly with the academic environment. The new university class is a natural continuation of these initiatives, offering young people even greater opportunities for growth and preparation for future studies.
The program is coordinated by dr Monika Kaczmarczyk from the Institute of Pedagogy at the University of Zielona Góra.
