On the first day of spring, the Center for Renewable Energy at the University of Zielona Góra had the honor of hosting special guests from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia. The meeting with Radosław Grech, the President of the Center for Renewable Energy, M. Arief Ramadhan, Economic Advisor, and Eko Winardi from the Economics Department, initiated by the Polish Chamber of Electromobility Development Association (PIRE), opened a new chapter in the search for cooperation opportunities in the field of green transformation.
The purpose of the visit was not only to exchange experiences but also to explore new opportunities for cooperation related to green transformation - a priority that Indonesia sets for itself in the areas of energy, transport, and automotive. This commitment is evident in initiatives such as the start of battery production (LG) and electric vehicles (Hyundai), as well as the inauguration of a billion fund for investments in electromobility and battery technologies during the B20 Summit.
"At the Center for Renewable Energy, we are curious about this cooperation and we look with enthusiasm at the future projects that may result from this visit. Our common goal is to set new standards in promoting renewable energy sources and striving for a green future in partnership with Indonesia," summarized Radosław Grech, President of the Center for Renewable Energy at UZ.
The meeting emphasized the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange as key to achieving sustainable development and innovation. The visit of the delegation from Indonesia is a step forward towards building strong partnerships between Poland and Indonesia, paving the way for joint projects that will support green transformation and contribute to global efforts to protect the environment.
