We are pleased to announce that the University of Zielona Góra has been selected to participate in the NAWA-EURAXESS Network 2024 program. The results of the first call for proposals have been published by NAWA – the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, and our university is among a group of institutions awarded funding in this inaugural edition.
Out of 12 applications submitted, 11 projects received funding, with a total budget of 7,054,448.50 PLN.
In addition to the University of Zielona Góra, the following institutions were also granted support:
According to NAWA: “The NAWA-EURAXESS Network is a new initiative launched on November 7, 2024. Its goal is to build regional cooperation networks between higher education and research institutions and other organizations supporting foreigners across Poland’s regions. These partnerships aim to create and promote an attractive environment for international researchers and their families coming to Poland.” The supported projects will also contribute to:increasing the number of Polish institutions within the European EURAXESS network, strengthening long-term regional cooperation, enhancing the visibility and use of European initiatives supporting research career development.
The program will run from June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2028.
