NAWA, through developing the existing grant and aid programmes, aims at encouraging foreigners to start their studies in Poland at a number of fields to be conducted both in Polish and foreign languages. NAWA coordinates scholarship programmes under terms set forth in agreements, with the collaboration of Polish diplomatic missions and institutes which will publish the offer for students on their websites. The grant amount will depend on the type of study course.
The study.gov.pl website has been created by the Ministry of Science and Education (MEiN) and is aimed at promoting Poland (Why Poland) as a country of studying, not only through the Erasmus+ programme. The website is a source of information on the higher education system and deals with queries important to students: how much a tuition fee is, what life and work in Poland is like.

A search for fields of study is practical as well. The choice of an educational pathway depends on a student's status (his/her citizenship, Karta Polaka) and helps determine the rules of studying in Poland.
Scholarships for the Polish diaspora are addressed to foreigners of Polish origin. They enable young people of Polish origin and holders of the Card of the Pole (Karta Polaka) to study in Poland (full-time programmes, in the Polish language) in higher education institutions supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The objective of the Programme is to promote socio-economic progress of developing countries by raising the level of knowledge and education of their citizens in the form of scholarships for second-degree studies in Polish or in English at Polish universities supervised by the Minister of Education and Science in the field of engineering and technical sciences, agricultural sciences, exact sciences, and life sciences.
This programme aims to encourage young talented people from the certain countries to pursue studies at the Polish university-type higher education institutions (HEIs). The Programme offers a scholarship during the statutory period of full-time second-cycle studies at academic HEIs (both public and non-public) supervised by the Minister of Education and Science. In addition, the Programme provides an exemption from tuition fees at public universities.
NAWA implements programmes of academic exchange as part of bilateral agreements and bilateral cooperation with, inter alia, the following countries: Armenia, Belarus, Belgium Wallonia, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Israel, Japan, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Mexico, Mongolia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Tailand (update: 15.03), Taiwan, Ukraine, Hungary, Vietnam, Italy.
Summer courses of Polish language, history and culture provide a unique opportunity not only to learn the language and culture, but also to visit the greatest tourist attractions, meet Poles and integrate with course participants from dozens of countries around the world who share the same passion for learning about Poland and the Polish language.
A multilateral exchange programme with Central and Eastern Europe. CEEPUS involves 16 Central and Eastern European countries whose exchanged students are exempt from paying tuition fees plus receive a comprehensive grant from the host country which depends on the living costs.
Grants for funding an exchange program between the United States and Poland to enable students, trainees, scholars, teachers, instructors and professors for training in both countries. Funding is administered by the Polish-US Fulbright Commission.
Administered by the international Visegrad fund and offered for nationals of the V4 countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia), as well as nationals of the V4 neighbouring countries. Visegrad scholarships support Master and post-Master students and researchers in all disciplines and in any language for up to four semesters at more than 190 higher education institutions across Central and Eastern Europe.
